1.3 We respect your privacy and DO NOT share or sell your personal information to any third party.
Furthermore, we use it ONLY for the purposes of initial submission (newsletter, course and event registration).
1.4 Storage period Our website is backed up daily, off-site via iDrive, as well as on Weebly (our hosting provider) but please note that none of your personal information is captured on the Inner Journey Events website with the exception of our Contact Forms, one for Customer/Client Support and one for inquiries re our services.. As noted above in 1.1, the information is saved on our website host Weebly. If the User submits the form with the OPT-IN button clicked to "yes", we then add to our newsletter subscription list, with another OPT-IN confirmation.
Furthermore, once per year (during the first week of April), we will email all subscribers inviting them to manage their preferences, including the option to unsubscribe from our newsletters, or to modify those they currently receive.
2. Collection of personal information

When you register for a course or event with us (hosted on the Ruzuku platform), the following information is collected:

Payments for the courses is managed through your preferred vendor in the Ruzuku registration process, i.e. PayPal or Stripe Merchant Services. We do not have any visibility to your credit card information, but the following information is available to us:

Subscriptions to our newsletters have a double opt-in procedure. After subscribing, you will receive an email requesting confirmation of your intent.

3. Hosting of your Personal Information
3.1 Our website is hosted by Weebly, now a division of Square Technologies. They are located at:

3.2 Our newsletters are hosted on Flodesk. Every newsletter we send has an UNSUBSCRIBE link and a MANAGE YOUR PREFERENCES link, so that users can cancel their subscriptions or modify to add/delete various newsletter options.
3.3 Our courses are hosted on Ruzuku When the User creates their profile on the platform, it includes a section for managing their email preferences, including frequency and the option to NOT receive emails related to their subscribed course.
3.4 Some of our events are hosted and recorded on Zoom. No User profile is required by Zoom, other than the User's email collected at event registration to enable providing them with the details for accessing the event on the Zoom platform.
Please note that our company is registered and located in British Columbia, Canada, and complies with all PIPEDA requirements. The transfer of any personal information outside of the EU is justified by the fact that our headquarters are located in Canada.
4. Data Controller
We are the owner-operator registered business in British Columbia, Canada. All responsibility for Data Control belongs with the owner, Della Ratcliffe, including the means and purposes of collecting personal information .
We are committed to protecting all personal information collected, and we will not transmit to a third party. Per PIPEDA, we will use such information only for the purposes by which the information was collected.

Newsletter subscribers may opt-out or update their information via a link on the newsletters they receive. If they are not subscribers, the user must must submit request by email, to della@innerjourneyevents.com, to the data controller (Della Ratcliffe).
