Join the Circle now (via STRIPE) for $30 USD each month

What is a Bean Gealach, you might ask? Great question! The group name was inspired by the Irish words for woman (bean, pronounced ban) and moon (gealach, pronounced roughly like ghee-yal-uch).

I am so excited about our new circle and community. The Bean Gealach Circle, with monthly online gatherings via Zoom and downloadable resources, is for the Wise Womxn who follow an Earth-based or goddess spirituality path, or are curious about it.

This circle is both collaborative and interactive. I invite commentary and questions in the monthly shared resorces (in the course platform in Ruzuku), and invite Circle members to suggest monthly themes.
Each month we meet virtually via Zoom for a lively discussion of the monthly themes, our spirituality, our practices, and to experience live journeys, meditations or rites.

Join us to (re)awaken your essence and manifest it in your way of being and in your practice.

Join now for access to upcoming modules + the May and June modules!

JUNE
Our theme is the Mother archetypes, goddesses and shadows. In our June 22 gathering, receive the Moon Mná Mother Rites of Danu, the second in our Blood Mysteries series the Goddess Within.

(see the Moon Mná acknowledgement below)
JUL Y
We explore the world of Fairy in Irish Celtic lore —the Sídhe (pronounced "she"), old Irish for the "Shining Ones" — and connect with them through the Moon Mná Faerie Rites, awakening us to their mischief, magic and the gifts.

(see the Moon Mná acknowledgement below)

AUGUST
I invited Circle members to suggest the theme for our August gathering and lore, and they did not disappoint! On the August Full Moon, we will gather to create relationship with the goddess Diana / Artemis (and Macha!) in a virtual grove, connect to the energies of the goddess who calls to you, find your own symbols for her qualities within you . . .  and perhaps find a new sacred tool for your rituals. We will journey, create ritual, and share our experiences.
Themes for future months
What would you like to learn or experience? This Circle is collaborative and responsive to your needs. Throughout the year, I will invite participants to suggest a theme. Perhaps we will choose your pick!

In coming months, plans include working wih Síla na Gig, receiving the Crone Rites, connecting with an Cailleach, a Journey to your Energetic Cauldrons, Crafting & Storytelling, Visioning . . . and more!

Acknowledgement

I am a Moon Mná Women's Circle Facilitator, certified by MoonMna.ie in Dublin, Ireland.

In the first year of this Bean Gealach Circle, some of the rites I share will come from my work as a Moon Mna Women's Circle Facilitator, such as the Mother Rites of Danu and the Fairy Rites noted above. I am both honoured and grateful to be certified as a facilitator.  These rites were gifted to my Moon Mná Mentor, Dr. Karen Ward, and she has gifted them to us facilitators around the world, who now offer them to women everywhere.

Thank you Karen for all the beautiful and heart-felt Moon Mná rites!

The goal of our Circle is simple:

to support you in (re)awakening your essence and manifesting it in your way of being and in your practice, as you align with the energies of earth, sun and moon, and to (re)connect to your inner wise, wild and witchy Self  — and to support each other the same way!

Together, we will listen to the voices and songs of the ancient mothers, share tales from our herstories; work with the Divine Feminine and the Threshold Goddesses (and more!) in the Wheel of the Year and from around the world; explore our three Inner Cauldrons (some consider these the Celtic chakras); craft sacred objects; connect with the physical and spiritual realms of Land, Sea and Sky, and the liminal spaces between them, and step into our own deep inner wisdom and intuition.

Together, we will explore how we can bring that wisdom into our way of being, our soul work, our rituals and practices, and to hold space for each other as an Isumataq, from the Inuktitut (Inuit) language meaning “the person who creates the atmosphere in which wisdom reveals itself”.

I will regularly add new items to the Circle online library "Resources for Your Practice", and we will meet together on Zoom each month to chat, learn, connect, share, craft, and rejoice . . .
filling our cauldrons and our Selves once again.

The Bean Gealach Circle

is a membership based program, and as a founding member of our tuath (tribe in Irish), you can join us with a subscription for only $20 USD per month (for Canadian participants, this price includes GST) until June 30th..

That price will be available ONLY during our first three months (April, May, June), and that price will be yours for as long as you are subscribed to the Circle. At the end of June, registration at that price is closed, and the membership price will then increase to $30 USD per month.

You can unsubscribe to the Circle at any time, at which point your access to the program will be closed. More details on how to cancel your subscription at the foot of this page or on our Refund Policy Page.

Soul Work Inspirations

In my Soul Work, I am always inspired by the writings of Ojibway author Richard Wagamese. He reminds me that there are many ways to connect to the realms of Land, Sea and Sky . . . and how to connect with our essence.

I share with you now some of his writings and in our monthly gatherings, I will share more about his way of being in right relationship with the worlds of Land, Sea and Sky . . . and your Self.
How do you get in touch with your essential self?

Ojibway author Richard Wagamese, now walking with the Ancestors, expresses so well what it means to connect with one's essential self.

"WHAT COMES FROM SPIRIT is beyond time, beyond place. It exists in another realm and when I get in touch with it, when I get in touch with my essential self, I am transported, altered, changed, empowered and I become less a human being working than a perfect spirit moving. This is powerful. This is truth. This is spiritual."

We will create community together

as we find the sacred in the everyday and in the small things of life, and as we each participate in the Circle, through sharing our wisdom, our questions, our experiences.

I love how Richard Wagamese, one of my favourite authors and guides, described this: "there's also the joy of small things: a hug, a conversation, playing a song all ragged and rough on an instrument, walking on the land, listening to great music or enjoying silence and a cup of tea. Rejoice.
Fill yourself again."
Where or how do you find joy?

WE ARE ALL STORY

REJOICE. AN ODD WORD that literally means "to experience joy again."

"
That should be our daily mission. To experience joy again. Sure there's stuff that needs doing, stuff to wade through and stuff to fix, but there's also the joy of small things: a hug, a conversation, playing a song all ragged and rough on an instrument, walking on the land, listening to great music or enjoying silence and a cup of tea. Rejoice. Fill yourself again."

— Richard Wagamese, from Richard Wagamese Selected: What Comes from Spirit

The Gatherings

Our gatherings will be virtual via Zoom. Throughout each year, we will explore the many possibilities in our sacred journey through life. In this first year we will explore our Divine Feminine though our physical self and our spiritual archetypes in a woman's life, including the Celtic and worldwide goddess pantheon, and the goddesses who embody those archetypes, such as Brighid, Danu, Demeter, The Morrígan or Mórrígan, Persephone, Hekate, Lilith, Inanna and An Cailleach. And as an accredited Moon Mná Womn's Circle Facilitator, I will also be offering some of the Moon Mná sacred rites and blessings throughout the year(s).

Each gathering will include a mix of elements, although each session will have a clear focus and intent, with additional support materials available in our Ruzuku platform.

These gatherings will be fully interactive and experiential as we tap into our inner wisdom and gifts using various modalities and tools such as group discussion, free-writing prompts, drawing from the soul, guided meditations, and more.

What or where do you recognize as home?
What is the feeling of your land?

THE LAND IS A FEELING

"Sitting beside the fire in this wiscome river valley, the mountains seem to enfold you as deeply as as the night. Against the sky they become a single purple smudge atop the shadowed apex of pine and poplar.

The river gurgle snakes through the sharp crackle of the fire just long enough to remind you where the real power lies. It's a feeling I've come to recognize as home."
